Piping hot front brake

Post by thedad »

I smelled a brake smell the other day and also noted that the car feels like it is being held back.

Checked the front passenger side disk and burned myself instantly.

Pulled the caliper off and the piston is moving and seems to be moving alright.

Cleaned and greased everything up and it is still binding and getting piping hot!

Any advise or guidance on how to proceed?

I dont want to get some replacement calipers if there could be another issue considering the piston is moving.
