2005 1.9tdi Awx estate 180k - Was always going to do clutch myself but curious to know what garage would quote. Was Independent and they said 650 for Clutch and DMF would be 400 if needed. Considering I can get Clutch and DMF for around 330 then its DIY time. And car probably worth 500. Going to use the On Yer Back instructions so thanks for that. I am second owner and have FSH and could not find any evidence of clutch being done. If so that's great for 180k milage. Maybe should wait until it goes but really fancy having a go. Would get Sachs or LUK but if you know anywhere cheaper under £300 then grateful for advise. Cheers.
