Whilst my 2004 Passat Estate (appears) mechanically fine there are a few electrical gremlins, as such I bought VCDS and took it for a run it up last night - cleared the existing logs and after a re-check this is what was found. I'm still extremely new at this and wondered if anyone could help interpret the errors it pumped out.... more specifically what parts I need to replace?
The issues I've experienced and am looking to clear up are as follows:
* remote central locking is intermittent (using the key still unlocks all the doors, except front passenger but ill get to that)
* the tailgate wants to pops itself open as soon as it is shut (as such I've disconnected power to the solenoid)
* electric window doesn't work on front passenger side (operates fine from driver control panel, already replaced front passenger window switch)
* central locking doesn't operate on front passenger side (currently using the internal handle to pop the door open and manually locking)
* electric wing mirror doesn't operate on front passenger side from drivers side control panel
* alarm horn kept sounding - I expect due to central locking issues so has been removed, not looking to put it back in
but hey, apart from that runs and drives great!
