Hi Folks. I have a slight coolant leak on our 1998 Passat B5 wagon 1.9 tdi. I have traced the leak to the top radiator coolant hose. It is a quick connector type with the push in clip. Seems a rubbish design to me..what's wrong with a jubilee clip?
Can this be modified? I believe there is a rubber washer inside the joint. Does this need to be replaced. How can I fix the leak?
Can I use a sealant of some sort?
Any advice?
