AVF timing belt tensioner, is there two different units?

hello, i ordered a timing belt kit for my passat with the AVF motor and the one in the kit is different from mine. mine has a gray cylinder that presses against a lever and that tensions the belt. the one in the new kit has just the pulley, looks the same as the ALH belt tensioner.
