Not been using it , putting back together I couldn't remember the orientation of the tube ,
( weird as I've done so many oil changes ) had a new one break..
Looking at it 180'd has called me to question .
I once had a poor oil extraction experience blaming a warm up time in cold weather but it was actually me not bending the tube towards the engine to straighten to facilitate the extractor tube ( this is how the original tube broke in the first place ) .
Iirc you bend / locate the tube towards the engine to get it into the engine top cover dipstick rubber surround ?
So with all this bending involved is it's orientation correct from the factory ?
The base metal fitting does come out at a slight angle to the right , I've tried to replicate this best I can .
Factory .
