I'm in the process of gathering parts for a 312mm brake upgrade for my Passat. I've got the 312mm discs and some new pads and thought I had the right carriers. I attempted the upgrade over the weekend and realized that I have the wrong carriers (mounting holes are too far apart) and both front calipers have split dust seals and sticky pistons.
I'm currently browsing eBay for new front calipers and i'm wondering if these pattern front calipers worth buying?

Or am I better off rebuilding the originals?
Does anyone know where to get hold of the correct caliper carriers too? Or perhaps have any for sale?
