Happy new year to ya guys.
One of my rear brake back plates decided to part company with the rest of the car the other day so I’m looking at perhaps fitting a new one (or maybe both). Am I right in thinking that the plate fits behind the flange of the rear axle?...is it a PITA to fit? I think I read somewhere that they are not needed in any case. If this is the case then I might postpone lying under my car on a cold and wet winters day.
