The dredded door lock

Hi all
last week the front passenger side door failed to unlock, i have been trying to unlock it on every journey this week but it refuses to budge, today i took the door card off, not easy with the door closed, and removed the metal window winder carrier, again not easy with the door closed but both do-able, i took the multi plug off the actuator and tested it, got power to the plug, so i think the lock actuator has failed, now, how do i get the actuator off with the door closed or can the door be unlocked manually
