Dash rattle

My B5.5 Wagon has develpped a really annoying buzzing from around the dashpod area, this has gone from being intermittant to constant now, it disappears when the revs are increased slightly from ldle to almost constant the rest of the time. i hope youre going to tell me its dashpod out and a quick fix. theres also a noticeable different sound when cornering as though its the whole dash creaking.

any thoughts/advice would be appreciated
