1.9 tdi water leak

I have what I hope is a slow water leak, the mechanic says its on the front right of the engine and is where there is a connector pipe from engine to radiator which may house a thermostat.


Does this ring a bell with you guys?

Is it a thermostat housing? and whats the fix for this problem? is it a replacement O ring or a replacement housing / pipe?


Does anyone know the part number as there seems to be a few different ones?
