Water damage

Hello, fine gentlemen.
The patient is a '98 B5 1.9 TDI, quite bad condition.

After heavy rain, water came in heavily through the seal underneath the cabin filter and underneath the ECU box.
I removed the cabin filter and seal, but I can't remove the ECU box because of two wires coming out of itx, connecting to a 50 and an 80 amp fuse in 8A0937530 connectors. I'd rather not cut those heavy duty wires, but I don't know where to disconnect them from.

The second problem is that the vacuum hose coming from the ECU is not connected to anything, might have snapped of old age. In any case, I don't know where it's supposed to go.
