A few months ago I purchased a 2000 B5 and now there is a warning light for the ABS.
I took it to a garage near my work and they say that they have to send it off to find out the problem and that it'll cost about 500 pounds. They also said it is unsafe to drive.
Since the car is only worth a few hundred I've been advised to sell it as scrap on ebay, but I really like the car, inside it's immaculate and the engine seems great.
Will it really cost this much to get the ABS fixed?
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I hope someone can help.
Cheers all!
