I bought a new brake switch to eradicate the Engine Workshop/glow plug light light. I followed the guide on VW Vortex, but it didn't work sadly. It seems like it might need updating as I read further posts - however - has anyone done one recently that might be able to shed some light on the correct way to install it?
I had it plugged in to VAGCOM and it bought the code up for the switch - so I'm pretty sure that's what the issue is. No brake lights [other than the high level] and no cruise.
