No response from clutch pedal

Hey. Ive got a 2005 passat 1.8t 4motion manual tranny. So i was driving down the road shifting normally and then all the sudden my clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and i had no clutch use. I drove for a little while intending to get to where i was going but was forced to stop and couldn't get the car back into first. I did a little research and it sounds like a hydraulic system failure but based on the brief evaluation the system everything seems to be working and not leaking fluid.

Any ideas as to what else this might be? Or could it be the slave or master cylinder that went bad even though they aren't leaking?
