Warning lights - confused.

So I'm in Northern France heading south for home with a mere 800kms to go and suddenly my dashboard is like a christmas tree.

First the traction control light came on after I pulled off from a coffee stop, then five minutes later the glow plug light starts flashing, then a bit later an "Engine Workshop" warning on the centre display, which soon went out.

Cruise has packed up, presumably because it thinks ESP has kicked in, ESP is not switched off and the engine is running just fine. Anyone had this combination and can advise what the most likely problem is? I want to press on but not sure if that's a really bad idea or not
