Intermittent high idle?

Hello folks. Our 1999 1.9 tdi Wagon has developed an intermittent high idle recently? Seems to happen more regularly with a hot engine but not exclusively? The car is chipped with a Blacksmoke mapped ECU but not had any issue with it and it has been on the car for a year. Any thoughts?
