Still hunting for a gearbox for PD130 sport. Came across this, seller reckons it will fit just need different speedo cable and longer mounts, can I just source mounts or do they have to be fabbed, Speedo cable, fit the V6 into 1.9 cluster...?
Passats seem to have dropped in price so need to keep it as economic as poss, do dealers really get £1300 for 5.5s...?
Mines 135k good history and body, just can't see it being worth more than £800, maybe a grand with new clutch and timing belt...dunno, anyway irrelevant as I'm not selling and don''t want anything else, e
