Hi

I have spent the last two days fixing problems with my B5.5 2003 Passat 1.9TDI.

Problems:

1. Drivers Window not working
2. Remote Central Locking

Repaired:

1. Drivers Window - Fixed broken wire in door hinge, now working.

Ongoing:

Remote Central Locking still got problems, Central Locking working with internal button, but the passenger door has a fault code 00929 (Switch central locking passenger side: implausible signal - faulty signal - permanent) new switch on order.

Checked for water ingress on passenger side which was moist no standing water CCM completely dry and no signs of corrosion. Wiring loom check and again no visible signs.... Pollen filter housing re sealed.

My question is when the switch in the passenger door is replaced will the remote central locking return?

Or am I missing something??

Any help or advise will be appreciated
