AUX fan, please help

his everyone. My name is Alex and I'm new to the site! I own a blue passat b5.5 pd130 with 227xxx miles and it's been super reliable. I've owned the car for 2 years and the AUX fan never worked however I've been trying to fix it recently so checked all fuses, relays seem to be okay, thermo switch at the lower radiator hose been changed and air con recharged but only works when I'm moving as the fan will not work for nothing!!! I should mention that I've got a brand new fan which I have plugged in and it won't work either. any help is very appreciated
