Recon Drive Shaft

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a quality reconditioned drive shaft for a 2002 Passat B5.5 19.tdi sport ?

I don't want to spend £300+ on a new VAG one. I saw a company called J&R in Birmingham sell them for £50 but they get very mixed reviews on forums, then there are a few sellers on Ebay, but I don't want to go to the hassle of fitting a new shaft only to find it's poor quality, so want to make sure I get it from a reputable seller that uses quality components.

I've thought about a used one off ebay as well. There is used one near me from a 2005 B5.5 but it's a 1.8 petrol - would that fit my 2002 Diesel ? or are the petrol versions different?
