Dreaded water leak

Ok, bought a B5.5 estate a few months ago and there was a nasty damp smell in the cabin (wet carpets) so searched this forum and found out about the plenum chamber, sorted that still getting water in passenger foot well. Pollen filter seal done that, still getting some water in. It appears to be wicking down the main wiring loom emanating from the front left A pillar. Has anybody got an idea as to where the water is coming from ? I've also fitted a new roof Ariel with shed loads of sealant . my next port of call will probably be the roof bars ! Other than the water ingress lovin it
