My AC has a funny issue. When Its not engaged (econ) there are no noises and all is well. When I engage ac (auto) it squeals a lot initially. This is the belt slippibg as I checked and can see rubber debris around the pulley.
After about 30 seconds it stops squealing and the ac is working well. Its reaonably called but could be called.
I suspect the compressor is seizing up and wondered if its worth changing? Or is there another issue?
