Fitted a front mounted intercooler yesterday, exactly as per Desertstorms instructions and it made the job a lot easier. If you are going to do this job, he's tagged his pictures on to the end of the FMIC thread in the how to section. You don't have to cut your grilles or anything, I obtained everything he suggested, and whilst it still took me six hours, I knew just what was coming.
I bought MIKALOR clamps and no joints are blowing. I made the pipe swaging tool from mole grips and a washer, it worked a treat.
The only thing I can add that might not be so obvious in the thread, is that you need TWO 57mm to 51mm reducers so you can join both sides of the circuit to your new pipes, other than that, thank Desertstorm for making it simple.
