I know its the wrong time of year but I would like to replace my AC compressor on my tdi 2003 (engine AWX). The one at the moment squeals when switched on (I've checked and replaced the belt) and generally it takes ages to cool down in the cabin though there are no leaks.
I think the correct part number is: 8D0 260 805 Q according to this:

Question - does the last letter on the part number matter? I can find lots which finish with D. Is this compatible? Question - when I google that part number I also get this one: 8FK 351 126-981 is this the Hella part number?I can see two on EuroCarParts Denso and Hella but not sure if they both can fit
Final Question - has anyone ever had to top these compressors up with oil? Is this something I need to do when I fit a replacement one?Sorry for the lots of questions - thank you in advance!
