Revs not falling quickly between gear changes

Hi all, After selling my much loved B5 Saloon after 2 years I have purchased another this a B5.5 Estate, not without some issues

1. Mirror centre light and rear passenger door lights do not work when any door is open, ( switching across fine, contacts all fine) drain holes clear floor dry, not a drop of water anywhere CCM looks new..Fuse 14?
2. The engine revs take time to fall when changing gear, tickover is normal and no issues revving it ? Just a pain when gear changing..
