According to a very experienced garage owner friend of mine, the vibration I have noticed lately is the death rattle of my DMF :Combined with my diff bearings starting to whine it forces me to dig deep.I do have a spare v6 box,and the DMF and clutch from the same vehicle which look in excellent condition after 40k. Thing is, should I take the chance and fit them?
It is my intention of doing the bv43 upgrade but the funds aren't ready for clutch and exhaust upgrade, so buying a standard DMF and clutch now,would put me back even further. Plus, I'm owed a few favours and wouldn't have to do the work myself ;) Hmmm
flywheel on way out?
