Pulled the EGR tube earlier on my 53 1.9 tdi sport. Put a bolt in the end of the tube. A few miles later it came up with the emissions fault .
I've now reconnected it and deleted the fault code.
I previously had an 03 passat, bought an EGR delete and no code, so a thin cross over point.
EGR valve again!
