Mixing long life and normal PD oil?

Hi all

My Passat B5.5 PD130 has been on the long life oil for most of its life I believe.
Can I now swap to the normal PD oil?

I change every 10k miles anyway so might as well be on the normal stuff?
I'm simply not convinced the oil should stay in for 20-30k miles

I assume the normal stuff is cheaper? I also have some of this in my garage, so would be good to use up.
