Just completed a tank to tank test, achieved 680 miles from a tank. Averaged 49.4 mpg according to the dash computer, over 36 hours. What I'm most impressed with is that's around town - no motorway or dual carriageways. My commute is 8 miles each way, all on A and B roads, then I use the car throughout the day for my job, all short journeys and again A and B roads and minor roads. Car is an '03 AVB saloon with EGR delete, vac pipe simplification and a Blacksmoke remap on stock rims and tyres.
How do you guys get on with mpg??
