I have a slight coolant leak on our 1999 1.9 tdi Estate. It is an AFN engined model. I suspected a leak as the level dropped slightly in the expansion tank and removed the plastic engine cover. There is a black plastic flange on the top of the head towards the back and it is leaking coolant where it is bolted to the head. Does anyone know the part number? It is the part that has the blue coolant temperature sender going into it?
Which is the best part to get? Is Meyle or similar okay or should I buy genuine? I am in France so genuine VW parts cost a king's ransom!!
Part number required - coolant flange?
