2004 passat rear passenger door not locking

hi all. the drivers side door lock is not operating by key fob or door lock operator on drivers door. i can push button on door down to lock it . it will however unlock with the key fob. luckily. is this a new actator required . iv done the front door before but it acked differently. that wouldnt open at all.
