Sealed pollen filter... what next

Post by 93skjc »

Hi all just bought a passat, and after heavy rain noticed the passenger footwell is damp in top corner, and the drivers door didn't always lock with the fob, so went for the battery drains but they were already removed, then took pollen filter apart, but it had already been sealed up, so I re-did it hope it makes a difference but not convinced, there was a build up of dirt between the filter and bonnet hinge so cleared that out aswell, but what's the best way to actually dry the ccm out? Do I need to take seat out? Can I just pull the trim off and lift the carpet without removing seats And centre console?
