Deadlocked front passenger door

So yes it wont open with either handle, switch or fob. If i pull internal handle then the pin pops up only to go back down when released. Window works.

I understand I need to take the door panel off to get at the mechanism, however some of the door card is restricted by the dash and after some bad language and looking like an ape in front of my neighbor I've come in and hoping someone can recommend something other than driving off a cliff.

I've just had a real bad few days and its just getting worse.
