aux belt tensioner

Evening,
Anybody know if i can remove the radiator and fan leaving the viscous coupling still on to get at the aux belt tensioner, rather do it this way then put into service position. are the bolts for the fan facing the front? cant remember the set up been awhile since i done the radiator
