Context is this - I'm in France, just about to put my Passat (which has been here on UK plates for 4+ years) through immatriculation (import and registration) and it turns out that my assumption about using the levers that cut off the l/h UK kickup to flatten the beam won't suffice - I need a r/h kickup to replace it. I've found brand new l/h drive headlights for around 75 euros a side here but they come without motors, hence my question. My assumption is that the motor assembly and fitment isn't handed, but I guess I'll find out....
