I had a dramatic-sounding "EMISSIONS - WORKSHOP!!" error message and beeping, but after kacking myself for a minute I realised the water temp gauge is dead, so I assume the coolant temp sensor needs replacing.I've checked the "how to" section and a few posts but can't see much useful....My three queries are:
1. Where is the bloody thing?
2. Anyone bought a VW one recently and can tell me roughly what the cost is? (I'm in France where car parts are ridiculously expensive, so if its cheaper to wait til I visit the UK in April, I will!).
3. Any traumas/difficulties with removal and replacement?
