I have quite an overboost issue and it's getting desperate now.
over the past year it's been coming on more and more. at first it was after a cold start until it warmed up and now it's pretty much all the time.
it's defo not sticky vanes.
on my remap it was exceeding 30psi at times.
over the past year I have simplified the vac system
replaced the MAP with a new genuine item
replaced the n75 with a new genuine item
replaced the compressor wheel after extreme overboosts
cleaned the hotside of the turbo so it is immaculate
replaced the actuator arm and reset to the correct length by a knowledgeable gentleman.
new MAF nearly a year ago but I doubt it's quality. currently using my gfs from her mk5 TDI.
brand new silicone lines. but also had the issue with brand new OE fabric covered rubber lines.
everything is behaving as it should when driven steadily. it's whenever I request any decent amount of boost it currently flies upto 25psi on a stock map... sometimes only on a low amount of throttle.
I logged it and came up with the info I'll post below. but frankly i'm struggling to pin it on something I can fix.
any help you could offer me would be amazing.
