So armed with some other google info I tried it out with Autosol . I used a cordless drill with a woolly mop on.
Here's what I started with
Squidged a bit of Autosol on me buffer and went for it. Literally seconds in and time to wipe off with a cloth. A few minutes buffing up and boom, let there be light
Obviously night time and may need a touch up in day light but looks good so far
