Awful metal on metal sound d!

Hi guys hoping for some help.

Yesterday when I finally got home I then went out to take my daughter to the stables a nice flooded rough road to drive on, anyway all fine and parked up.

Came out an hour later drove through the puddle got on the main road then about a mile down the road my ears were painful, metal on metal sound, front right like something had jammed, I stopped and checked the car and nothing obvious drove off and still a high pitched metal sound, pumped the brakes and off we go and it eventually stopped and was perfect all the way home.

Started driving this morning and exactly the same noise, pulled over pumped the brakes and it eventually stopped, the weird part is the pitch doesn't change when you speed up or down and the brakes look OK although tomorrow I will jack the car up and check, pads and discs only 5 months old.

Any help greatly appreciated.
