As title, my 2005 tdi 1.9 100bhp highline rocket ship has started to sound really rough so just been investigating and noticed it is in desperate need of a aux belt as its starting to split between the grooves!! So I will get one of those. The noise sounds like it's coming from the belt area and I noticed the belt seems to be flapping about a little so and makes a slight squeal when steering whenever parking up so would I be right in thinking the alternator pulley or tensioner?
The engine performs as usual with the breath taking 100bhp
