I recently bough my passat as a bit of a project, i really like it, but its not quite reliable yet! It was going into limp mode after around 60mph. Last week i bought a new N75 valve after fitting the turbo boosted much later, around 2.4k as apossed to previous 1.9kish. I could live with this and there was no more limp mode. Until today, the turbo seemed to up and leave once again. I dont want to put it in the garage as my finances aren't great and i dont really have a trusted one. Its an 03 plate 1.9 tdi sport 130 engine code is AVF. This is my first post on here and im also a VAG novice.
If anyone has any suggestions it'd be much appreciated.
