After recently getting my horrendous front wings replaced by VW (they had been bothering me for ages) my attention has suddenly been drawn to the next ugly thing that needs sorting. I have been driving around with steelies without any hub caps for months - yuck! Anyway after scanning ebay and gumtree for a few weeks I finally found some nice 16'' alloys with decent tyres from an Audi A4 of the same year as my passat (04) for £120. :esm

3 are in fairly good nick with a few minor scratches here and there but one has been curbed pretty bad. :sad:

I think I am going to give them all a DIY refurb. :D

They are currently a dull silver which I quite like - not as dark as anthracite but certainly not too 'bling bling' silver.

My Passat is Reflex Silver.

Can anyone :

1. suggest which shade (or even colour) will go with reflex silver (not keen on mega sparkly)
2. guide me towards a refurb thread?
