Fuel Tank Pump

Afternoon All
My poorly old passat has been struggling accelerating for a while now, gets to when the turbo should kick in and it doesnt seem to have enough fuel or air. Had various checks done from the turbo to the cam.
Turns out the garage said its the pump in the fuel tank.
They have checked the wiring and its all good.
looking to replace it, where is best to get one ? is it easy to do myself?
