Washer motor and central locking gone

My washer motor just stopped working again. I've already replaced it once since getting the car. Checked all the fuses in the main board and they are all fine.
Although I have a feeling this is related to my being stupid over the weekend...
I did have a go at cleaning the b pillar connections with some contact cleaner and a wire brush, but forgot to disconnect battery... So shorted something out as my n/s rear locking mech is refusing to make any noises now.
I disconnected it as It wasn't unlocking but at least it was attempting it, now I've put back together I get nothing. All the other doors work fine.
I going to scan it when I get home but any advice on where to start looking would be appreciated.
