Golf MK4 Steering wheel/Passat

Would a Golf MK4 GTI steering wheel fit a B5.5? Reason I ask is there are loads of 3 spoke VW steering wheels on Ebay for around £25, but if you type in 'Passat 3 spoke steering wheel' not many items come up. They look identical but thought I would check before I buy one as don't like my 4 spoke steering wheel.
