Wheels?
I think I've made up my mind finally
Replica 17" s4 Avus 6 spoke wheels.
As much as I would have loved the set in the for sale area (now sold) I don't think I could do justice to them. I can't see my car getting any lower and I'd only end up curbing them or bashing them into a rock on the side of some tiny back lane.
So the only place I've found them is on Performance alloys.com at £99 each, anyone seen a set elsewhere? not many good ones on ebay.
It's cheaper to fit them with tyres from Mytyres (cheers Bigray) than get them as a set. Looking at fitting them with 215/45/17. Going of the conversion charts this is the closest to my original diameter.
I'm planning to keep my old wheels as I fitted some new tyres recently and use them over winter
Am I right? Have I missed anything? quite a noob to wheel fitment so would appreciate the wealth of knowledge out there to cast an eye over my musings.
