Hi guys,
I was informed by a garage yesterday that I have some sort of air leak somewhere in the air intake. Apparently it could be anywhere.
The reason it was at the garage was because I thought the noise was the new exhaust that they had recently welded onto the old manifold as they couldn't get it off. The mechanic said that it has no effect other than making it louder but surely if there's a leak there is air getting into the engine that hasn't been through the air filter...
It's the ALT engine. Anyone have any idea where to start looking? I haven't a clue.
