Hello all!
We have been making a few changes on our newly purchased B5 Passat Wagon. First thing was to replace the the VW Gamma head unit with a new DAB head unit. Simple job to fit it, but the magnetic exterior DAB aerial is cumbersome and there is no way of routing the wire inside the car from the roof?
So we have bitten the bullet and purchased one of these to replace the standard VW bee sting aerial.

What I would like to know is what is the best way to access the existing aerial for removal and then we will need to route a 5.5 metre DAB aerial cable to the back of the dash. Is it easy to route it behind the headlining? How do I remove the wind screen pillar trim. I will also need a 12 volt feed for the new aerial?
Any suggestions?
