Car Dead, Help Needed

Driving the car last night and its cut out, started it again and it cut out after a few seconds of bad idling. Started it again and revved to keep the car going and it what sounded like overboosted and cut out. Lots of wooshing air when trying to drive it

Its now sat at the side of the road about 4 miles from home, could the, or do the divertor valves collapse with bigger boost pressures and what would be the symptoms of that
